In further reference to the letter from the Depart- ment of August the 15th last, the Committee have pleasure in recommending Miss H. Wilks to the Under Secretary of State as a suitable candidate for appointment as a Nurse in the Medical Department of Hong Kong.
Herewith I enclose Miss Vilks' application form and papers and beg to say she will be prepared to leave England within one month after receiving the appointment.
